Portugal returned to training on Wednesday afternoon in Doha after their 6-1 victory over Switzerland on Tuesday.
The players who were not in the starting line-up against Switzerland were the only ones to train at the Al Shahania SC training ground with Cristiano Ronaldo who despite coming off the bench with 17 minutes left, did not train on the pitch with his team-mates.
Instead, he stayed at the gym to do recovery with the players from the starting 15.
Ronaldo was among Portugal’s substitutes at a major tournament for the first time since 2008.
