Cristiano Ronaldo led Portugal training on Thursday after the forward used his social media platforms to deny reports he wanted to leave the national team.
“This group is too united to be broken by external forces. A nation too brave to be intimidated by any adversary” said the 37 years-old forward on a brief press release.
Ronaldo, who has scored 118 international goals, started on the bench in Portugal’s 6-1 Round of 16 win against Switzerland.
Defender Ruben Diaz missed training and he worked individually in the gym.
A quarter-final match awaits against Morocco on Saturday.
