Eden Hazard leaves Real Madrid , after reaching an agreement to rescind his contract a year early.
“Real Madrid and Eden Hazard have reached an agreement by which the player is disassociated from the club as of June 30, 2023″, official announces of Real.
“Eden Hazard has been part of our club for four seasons, in which he has won eight trophies: one European Cup, one Club World Cup, one European Super Cup, two Leagues, one Copa del Rey and two Spanish Super Cups.
“Real Madrid wants to express its affection for Eden Hazard and wishes him and his entire family the best of luck in this new period.”
Eden Hazard arrived in Madrid in 2019 in a move worth more than 100 million euros for Chelsea.
But, nothing went as expected as he arrived out of shape, didn’t settle until October and in November an injury against PSG caused him fitness problems.
The Belgian leaves Real Madrid with 54 games, 30 starts and four goals.
