AC Milan have confirmed that Paolo Maldini has concluded his role as technical director of the club, effective as of 5 June 2023.
The club released a terse statement officially confirming their decision on Tuesday, saying: ‘AC Milan announces that Paolo Maldini concludes his tenure at the Club, with effect from 5 June 2023.
‘We thank him for his contribution over the years, with Milan returning to the Champions League and winning the Scudetto in the 2021/22 season.
Maldini has worked in an executive role at the Milanese club since 2018, and was promoted to technical director in 2019.
