The Newcastle owner plans to bring the trio of strikers Messi, Ronaldo and Benzema to St James’ Park this summer.

Newcastle could loan Messi, Ronaldo and Benzema?

Messi, Ronaldo and Benzema can play for Newcastle together

According to SunSport and some reputable sources, the owner of Newcastle – Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund has bought the 4 biggest clubs of the Saudi Arabian league, including Al-Ittihad, Al-Ahli, Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal . The clubs have now been established as companies in which PIF owns 75% of the shares. PIF is one of the largest global investment funds in the world, with Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman as the majority shareholder.

Ronaldo is currently playing for Al-Nassr, and Karim Benzema has almost signed a 2-year contract with Al-Ittihad. Meanwhile, free agent Lionel Messi is hard to refuse an offer of £350 million/year salary from Al-Hilal. Although Messi’s father wants the Argentine captain to return to Barca, this possibility is difficult to succeed because the Catalan giants have not been able to completely solve the financial problem.

After acquiring four domestic clubs, PIF can easily transfer players on loan between the clubs they own. That means, Newcastle can borrow Messi, Ronaldo and Benzema without worrying about breaking the Financial Fair Play (FFP).

Co-owner of Newcastle, Jamie Reuben admitted about the plan to circumvent the law so that the Thief could own 3 attacking superstars. “To meet the Financial Fair Play Law, we will play by the rules,” he told Business of Sport.

There is no rule limiting the number of players a Premier League club can borrow from abroad. Therefore, if all goes well, Newcastle could sign Ronaldo, Messi and Benzema on loan this summer. If this comes to fruition, coach Eddie Howe’s army will really be elevated and worth watching next season.

This season, Newcastle finished in 4th place in the Premier League, thereby qualifying for next season’s Champions League. That is one reason Messi, Ronaldo and Benzema come to St James’ Park.
