Haaland and Grealish have a very close relationship at Man City

Last night (May 21), after beating Chelsea 1-0, Man City officially lifted the Premier League title in front of tens of thousands of fans at Etihad’s home ground.

During the coronation ceremony, the Man City players could not hide their joy when they won the English championship for the third time in a row. Midfielder Grealish insists that no team can stop Man City at this time.

“We are an unstoppable team. I feel more confident, more energetic. That’s why Man City bought me and I feel like I still have a lot to offer. We have not stopped here. We still have bigger goals than that,” Grealish shared after the coronation ceremony.

Notably, when Grealish was giving an interview, Erling Haaland immediately went and ‘robbed the forum’ of his teammates. The Norwegian striker showed affection and swore ‘I love you, dammit’ to Grealish’s astonishment.

Grealish then hugged Haaland and talked about their close relationship. “We have a great relationship. We train together a lot and live in the same building.”

Jack Grealish arrived at Etihad from Aston Villa in the summer of 2021 for a record price of £ 100 million. After an unsuccessful first season, the 28-year-old midfielder has confirmed his place in the second season with 48 appearances in all competitions, scoring 5 goals and providing 11 assists.

For his part, Erling Haaland exploded in his first season with Man City. The 23-year-old striker has scored 36 goals in the Premier League, thereby breaking the record of 34 goals per season of two legends Andy Cole and Alan Shearer.
