Team News

Bournemouth trio Marcus Tavernier (hamstring), Ryan Fredericks (calf) and Junior Stanislas (unspecified) all remain sidelined, while Chris Mepham (hamstring), Kieffer Moore (head) and Hamed Traore (foot) are all doubtful and will be assessed ahead of kickoff.

O’Neil could stick with a back four of Adam Smith, Marcos Senesi, Lloyd Kelly and Matias Vina, but he also has the option to revert to a back five which could see either Jack Stephens or Illya Zabarnyi handed a start at centre-back.

Dango Ouattara and Ryan Christie are likely to retain their places on the flanks, with Philip Billing operating in the No.10 role behind central striker Dominic Solanke.

As for Chelsea, Reece James (hamstring), Mason Mount (pelvic) and Armando Broja (knee) are all ruled out for the rest of the season, while Kalidou Koulibaly and Marc Cucurella (both hamstring) are also recovering in the treatment room.

Lampard will ponder whether to switch to a back three or stick with a flat back four, but nevertheless, Cesar Azpilicueta and Ben Chilwell are expected to operate as either full-backs or wing-backs in the absence of both James and Cucurella.

Noni Madueke scored his first Chelsea goal in the defeat at Arsenal and will be hoping to be rewarded with a second successive start on the right wing, while either Havertz or Joao Felix could be recalled in attack at the expense of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who endured a night to forget against his former club in midweek.

Bournemouth possible starting lineup:
Neto; Smith, Senesi, Kelly, Vina; Lerma, Rothwell; Ouattara, Billing, Christie; Solanke

Chelsea possible starting lineup:
Kepa; Azpilicueta, W. Fofana, Silva, Chilwell; Kante, Fernandez, Kovacic; Madueke, Havertz, Mudryk
