Antony’s ex-girlfriend, Gabriela Cavallin, filed a police report against him last Monday for domestic violence, bodily injury and threat.
Brazilian media outlet Globo Esporte claim that Gabriela Cavallin, who was with the 23-year-old last year, filed a report to police in São Paulo.
Cavallin has called upon Brazilian authorities to take ““an urgent protective measure” as further evidence for the case is gathered.
There’s yet to be any comment from the player or his club Manchester United over the accusations. Antony joined Erik ten Hag’s side from Ajax last summer for £85 million.
However, it should be noted that the 23-year-old will have been playing for Manchester United on the reported date the incident took place. He featured in a 1-0 win against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on May 10.
Cavallin and Antony are said to have had a relationship last year. She said on social media in June 2022 that she suffered a miscarriage, with the couple expecting their first child.
